Who is Northbeam?

We're a husband and wife team dedicated to providing excellent bookkeeping to local small businesses. We support a variety of clients, both ongoing and ad hoc.

Both individually and as a team, Ron and Beth are continually learning better techniques, the latest best practices, software shortcuts, and time-savers. Northbeam is continually striving to find -and share- the best information to ease their customer's workloads and maximize resources.

Meet Beth

Beth Mattern's experience at Seafirst/BofA, KeyCorp, and Seattle NW Securities ranged from personal banker to database administrator. Her programming experience includes writing database/programs to feed into accounting systems and ensure the the systems balance to the General Ledger.

Beth is an expert at using formulas in spreadsheets to solve problems.

Ron Arant's experience at Seafirst/BofA scaled from bank teller to software engineer, interfacing with large corporate general ledger systems. He is always exploring new ideas and software solutions for continued improvement and cost-savings.

Ron maintains Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor status .
